What wood are Belize Chairs produced from?
Belize Chairs are produced from locally grown and sustainably harvested tropical hardwoods such as Honduran Mahogany, Zericote, Che Chem, Granadillo, Jobillo, Cabbage Bark, Santa Maria, Pau Amarillo, Chakte Kok, and Sapodillo. Most wood in the chairs is the reused “off cuts” from the lumber milling process. Rather than being burned as waste they are gathered and used to make the chairs.
